Summary: Great communication with the office to schedule and plan a hike for our family of five. Our original hike had to be changed because a landslide closed the rode to that hike and the new hike, to Baskins Creek and waterfall was an excellent substitution. We met early (7:30am) with our guide John and followed him to the parking lot in the park. We got the last two spots so going early was important. The hike took 3 hours and John was great about explaining the fauna and fire marks around the trail and how the park has evolved over time. We purchased our parking pass online which saved time. The hike was easy/moderate and downhill going down, with a detour to an old cemetery. Uphill on the way back was a little harder. The trail was well marked with some climbing over rocks and a stream. We all had a great time.
